Writers as Readers
1.
When I read I like to be in a quiet place and
where I won’t be bothered as much… I want to be able to draw into the book and
not have to try and refocus back into the book.

One of the books that I always felt on edge was the Maximum Ride series. The
reason why it always kept me on
edge was because it was full of action scenes and the chapters were really
short.
7. The first book I ever remember reading was
The Outsiders because I wasn’t into much reading at the time. And when I read
The Outsiders I really liked it so I always listened. I guess I could say that
The Outsiders was the first book ever to get me to start reading. And I really
really enjoyed it.

My favorite book would probably have to be Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment. I
really enjoyed this book because from the start at chapter 1 there’s a lot of
action scenes and makes a whole lot of sense… Plus I always wondered what it
would be like to have wings…
I wonder if as an artist you have an easy time visualizing what you're reading, if a stream or pictures or drawings is always running through your mind along with the text...
ReplyDeleteActually yes I do, I think it helps visualize things alot better. Really I dont think you have to be an artist to be able to visualize something.. You just have to have a creative mind. Like i know you had said your not very good at writing fictional stories but you can tell or write about something that really happened. So i guess it depends on the person.
